A Personal Update from the Maintainer

I’m the maintainer of Gatus, an automated developer-oriented status page, and I’m excited to share some updates with you. Over the past few months, I’ve been working hard to implement features that have been requested by our users, and I’m thrilled to say that we’ve made some significant progress.

One of the biggest changes you’ll notice is our brand new UI. We’ve given Gatus a modern makeover, making it easier to use and navigate. But that’s not all – we’ve also added the ability to display announcements and updates on the status page, so you can keep your users informed about what’s going on.

New Features and Improvements

We’ve also added external endpoints with heartbeat support, which allows you to push statuses rather than having Gatus do the monitoring for you. This gives you the benefits of Gatus’ alerts, while still allowing you to have control over the monitoring process. And, we’ve added over 10 new alerting providers, giving you even more options for staying on top of things.

But what I’m really excited about is our upcoming feature, Suites. This is a list of endpoints with a shared context, allowing you to compare or use the output of one endpoint with another’s. It’s a powerful feature that will allow users to monitor workflows, and even includes failsafes to ensure clean up even on failure.

So, what does all this mean for you? Well, with Gatus, you’ll be able to create a status page that’s tailored to your needs, with the features and functionality that you need to keep your users informed. And, with our new UI and features, it’s never been easier to use.
